Stretching & Bonding

Canvas prints can either be stretched or bonded to boards. Stretching your print is the professional way to present your canvas prints. We add a stiff backing board to each frame to give your canvas extra strength and protection.

All our stretched prints are neatly presented with perfect corners, all staples are taped and hidden, and they are strung ready to hang. In addition each canvas is Cellophane-wrapped and can also be boxed ready to sell.

Stretching onto a traditional type stretcher bar will allow for your canvas to be framed. Stretching your canvas onto a larger box type frame means you can hang your art with that modern finish. Standard box depth is 38mm, you can either have a plain white edge or colour of your choice, or you could have the image wrapped around the edge.

For that big impact a deep box frame can really give your canvas that wow factor. These stretcher bars are twice as deep at 76mm. Another way to present canvas prints is by bonding them to MDF. Once bonded they can then be framed conventionally or mounted in a floater frame. This popular framing method gives a similar minimalist look to that of a canvas wrap or block mount.

Scanning

The most important stage in the reproduction process is the origination. With more than 30 years in the photographic profession we utilise our skills, experience and specialist equipment to perfectly match your prints, paying close attention to the fine detail and colours used in your artwork to give you a virtual clone. This attention to details is extremely important because if any detail is lost at the scanning stage the final print quality will not match your original.
